Montecito Inn Suites Remodel

The Montecito Inn was built in 1928 by screen legend Charlie Chaplin as a getaway for Hollywood actors. The remodel for the two premier suites – the Apartment Suite and the Tower Suite – was an extension of the quality and tradition that their guests have always enjoyed.

The interior of both suites was completely demolished and replaced with modern finishes, including custom fireplaces, steam showers, custom audio/visual, specialty lighting systems, and carpeting imported from India. Wire brushed oak flooring was installed in the common areas.  Every interior detail was scrutinized by the client and design team to ensure that the quality and tradition was upheld including custom interior painting, finish hardware, and mirrors with built in televisions.

All construction was done while the entire rest of the Inn was in full operation, which was no small task considering noise, dust, and material delivery constraints.

The tradition of the Montecito lives on, and the Apartment and Tower Suites are now a part of this tradition. The quality and workmanship of the finishes for these Suites rival any finishes seen in Montecito or the Santa Barbara area.
